***$62 TRILLION Catalyst Revealed***

Small Group Of Copper Stocks Have Become BREAKOUT STARS

***New all-time highs hit in 2023 driving 575%, 600%, and 1891% total max gains…

***Hot off new copper discovery, one small company plans to join them!

A stealth bull market is building in copper stocks.

A small group of these neglected stocks are flying right now (including one you’ll see below that’s up 1891% in the last two years).

The Motley Fool has gone as far as describing the emerging opportunity in copper as a “No-brainer.”

But there's a major reason why the highly disregarded copper stocks are on the move.

There’s a staggering $62 TRILLION catalyst that could send them all climbing much higher.

And Element 29 Resources (US: EMTRF / CAN: ECU), a copper exploration company that recently announced a high-potential discovery in one of the world’s most prolific copper mining belts, could join the many soaring copper stocks.

The next few weeks and months are going to be critical.

So, let’s get right into it all.

How Copper’s “Persistent Deficit” Is Making Fortunes For Early Investors

The global race for copper is still in the early stages.

Right now supply and demand are disconnected.

But, according to experts, the gap is only going to get wider as electrification efforts and mandates around the world send copper demand climbing.

This chart from Bloomberg on the left sums it all up:[i]

It’s really a “calm before the storm” type of environment in copper right now.

But while many see peril, many others see major opportunity.

Robert Friedland, a billionaire mining magnate, recently declared, “We’re heading for a train wreck here…copper can go up 10 times.”

Friedland should know too.

He’s the founder and Executive Co-Chairman of one the most explosive copper growth stories over the past few years.

But it’s just one of many major recent copper success stories.

Copper Stocks Continue Meteoric Rise In 2023

There are so many examples of copper stock soaring we trimmed it down to just a handful of the biggest to show you the potential of copper stocks right now.

Ivanhoe Mines (CAN:IVN) is one of the most successful copper mining companies in the world.

This is the copper miner headed by Robert Friedland we quoted above.

It has been on a tear.

The last few years have seen Ivanhoe shares soar from C$2.00 to a high of more than $13.50 in 2023.

But Ivanhoe is just one example.

Capstone Mining (CAN:CS) is another high-flying copper miner.

Capstone shares dropped to a low of 37 cents in 2020.

Since then, the copper bull has propelled the company to more than $7.00 per share this year.

Filo Mining is another major copper success story.

This is a copper exploration company.

After making a big copper discovery in 2021, its shares continued to soar.

Altogether it has run from $1.50 to more than $27 in 2023.

There’s still more.

NGEx Minerals Ltd (CAN:NGEX) is another.

This copper explorer has used its copper discovery to propel it’s shares from 40 cents in 2021 to more than $7.00 in 2023.

Copper stocks are the place to be.

And Element 29 Resources (US: EMTRF / CAN: ECU) has a plan to potentially join this illustrious list breakout copper stock stars.

A New Copper Discovery Is Made

Element 29 is ideally placed to jump on the copper surge and has all the potential.

Technically, it’s a pure copper “exploration” company.

It has multiple exploration projects underway.

The two main ones are the Elida and Flor de Cobre projects.

The focus will be on the Elida Project because it has the potential to be transformational for a still-small company the size of Element 29.

That’s because the discovery is located in one of the most prolific mining regions in the world…

There’s potential for expansion of the known resource…

The project hosts multiple discoveries....

Institutional investors just handed the company more than $2 million…

And the company is planning a new drilling campaign to see how big its discovery is going to be.

And it all starts with the type of copper discovery it made.

Element 29 has discovered a unique type of copper deposit called a “porphyry” (pronounced “Poor-free”).

Porphyry deposits account for 60% of the world’s copper production.[ii]

This is the type of richly mineralized rock that porphyry deposits contain.[iii]

They are copper, but they can also contain gold, silver, molybdenum, and many other minerals.

These types of deposits are the foundation for the worlds largest mining companies such as BHP, Rio Tinto, Anglo American, Glencore, Codelco and Freeport McMoRan to name few.

And they’re the foundation of the largest copper mines in the world.[iv]

Just look at the top five copper mines and what they all have in common:

That’s why Element 29’s discovery is such a big deal for such a small company.

Element 29 has discovered another porphyry deposit along one of the most prolific copper trends in the world that stretches from Peru all the way down through Chile.

Here’s the Elida project on a map of Peru along with other major mineral discoveries and Element 29’s three other exploration projects.

The trend is along a geologic environment that produced a number of major porphyry deposits.

The Elida project is right there with them all too.

Elida is Element 29’s most advanced exploration project and contains an initial Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 321.7 million tonnes grading 0.32% copper (for a total of 2.24 billion pounds of contained copper), plus 0.03% molybdenum and 2.6 g/t silver.

Now, if you zoom in again, you can see an even stronger trendline of major porphyry discoveries.

This map is also from Element 29’s investor presentation and shows how clustered these discoveries are.

Elida sits in a geologic environment shared by all the other major porphyry copper deposits in the region that are actively mined.

The Antamina Mine to the north is a top-ten global copper producer jointly owned by four major mining companies.[ix]

One of those owners, Teck Resources (US:TECK) describes it as a “ large copper and zinc mine.”

The Marcapunta Mine to the east is the third largest underground mine in Peru and is one of the main mines owned by Compania de Minas Buenaventura (US:BVN), a $2 billion mining company.[x]

The Toromocho Mine is owned by Chinese mining giant Chinalco.[xi]

The potential for the mine is so big that Chinalco announced a $1.3 billion expansion of the operation, which began production in 2015.

There are two things in common here…

Peru and Porphyry Copper Deposits.

That’s what takes us back to what Element 29 was able to determine from its previous drilling program.

This is the side view of what Element 29 has discovered on its Elida project:

It has all the early indicators of a wide and deep-running porphyry copper deposit.

But it’s what Element 29 has planned next that has attracted a C$2.8 million investment and could launch it to an entirely new level.

The Sky’s The Limit

What’s next for Element 29 is the key to all this.

The company made its porphyry copper discovery.

Now it’s time to see how big it is.

This is where Element 29 really stands out.

And it just takes one more zoom into the Elida project to see the enormous potential set up here.

This is the top-down view of the Elida project from Element 29’s Investor Presentation:

TOP VIEW

SIDE VIEW

There are five zones of potential mineralization.

The center - Zone 1 Deposit – is the core of the discovery.

It has the porphyry-style depth and width visible in the diagram above showing a side view of the deposit .

This view shows how the deposit has potential to grow by enlargement at depth and on the sides.
Surface exposures reveal  four additional zones that could hold additional copper mineralization.

Those areas will be the targets of  future “step out” drilling programs.

DOWN But Not Even Close To OUT

Without a catalyst for a turnaround, Element 29 shares have been barely treading water.

The chart shows the company has been on the same ups and downs of many other exploration companies even though most of them don’t have a single mineral discovery.

Here’s the chart of Element 29 shares:

The new drilling campaign could be the catalyst for a major turnaround in Element 29 shares.

At least that’s what institutional investors must be betting on when they recently invested C$2.8 million directly into the company to fund planned drilling programs.

That drilling can deliver potentially significant results and new discoveries.

And then you’ll see if Element 29 is on its way to joining a long list of explosive copper stocks that have soared in the last couple of years.

Conclusion

The world is changing at a faster pace every day.

One main driving force is the $62 trillion energy transformation and global electrification project.

Copper stocks are sitting at the heart of this transformation.

Recent copper discoveries have delivered huge results for early investors.

Element 29 Resources (US: EMTRF / CAN: ECU) has discovered a significant new copper deposit.

Now it’s taking the next steps to see if the discovery it has made is as big as those of its major mining company neighbors.

Consider taking a deeper look at Element 29 Resources (US: EMTRF / CAN: ECU) right now.
